NPS Calculator
An NPS (National Pension System) calculator projects your corpus at 60 and the monthly pension it can buy. Enter your monthly contribution, age and expected return; at retirement at least 40% of the corpus must buy an annuity, the rest is a tax-free lumpsum.

How is NPS calculated?
Contributions compound monthly to age 60. At 60, 40%+ buys an annuity (pension = annuity corpus × annuity rate ÷ 12); up to 60% can be withdrawn tax-free.

Frequently asked questions
- How much pension will NPS give me?
- Your pension depends on the corpus at 60, how much you annuitise (minimum 40%), and the annuity rate (~6% is typical). A larger corpus and higher annuitisation mean more pension.
- What tax benefit does NPS give?
- NPS offers up to ₹1.5 lakh under 80C plus an extra ₹50,000 under 80CCD(1B) — a total of ₹2 lakh in deductions under the old regime. Employer contributions get a separate 80CCD(2) benefit.
